Walk-in wardrobes come in three broad layouts, set by the shape of the room. A single-wall walk-in runs all the storage down one side of a narrow room and leaves a clear aisle, which suits the modest walk-ins tucked behind main bedrooms in established Tweed homes. An L-shaped layout wraps two walls and is the most common in the new coastal estates, giving generous hanging and shelving without a huge footprint. A U-shaped or full dressing room lines three walls, and with enough space we add a central island dresser with drawers below and a compliant stone or timber top for jewellery, folding and a place to lay out clothes. Design and written quote

Next we turn the measure into a clear design and a written, itemised quote. Materials, door styles, compliant benchtops, hardware and a realistic timeline are all set out plainly, with honest advice on trade-offs, such as laminate versus natural stone, or where two-pac is worth it. Because engineered stone is banned, you will only ever see legal, safe benchtop options. Nothing is ordered or built until you are happy and the quote is signed off.

In the workshop your cabinets are glued, dowelled and built square, then delivered and installed by the same team that measured them.
